Examines current theory and practice in assessment. Prepares students to evaluate leading
assessment trends, models, methods and tools used in workplace and educational settings. Students will
analyze essential variables that influence adult learning, evaluate the costs and benefits of assessment
programs, and develop formative and summative assessment plans that include authentic assessment techniques.
