Welcome to Strayer University!
I am pleased to share the 2026-2027 edition of Strayer's Academic Catalog with you. Since 1892, Strayer University has provided accessible, high-quality education designed to help students move forward with confidence as they pursue their academic and professional goals. The catalog reflects our current program and concentration offerings, including microcredentials that support your academic and career progression.
This catalog is the official academic record of the University and provides a comprehensive overview of our degree programs and requirements, academic policies, and institutional standards. I encourage you to use it as a practical planning tool as you map out your academic journey, alongside the guidance of our faculty, advisors, and University representatives. Together with the Student Handbook, which outlines student rights and responsibilities, code of conduct, and available support, these resources set clear, shared expectations and foster transparency, accountability, and consistency across our academic community.

Strayer University
To ensure that Strayer University students have the best education possible, we have established the academic policies and procedures outlined below.
University Administration
Legal control of the university is vested in the board of trustees elected by the university's sole shareholder, Strategic Education, Inc.
The university's annual financial budget and overall academic decisions are directed by its board of trustees.
Following the parameters of the academic and financial direction set by the board of trustees, those responsible for the academic and instructional quality of Strayer University include the university president and the university provost and their direct reports. The university president is responsible for the overall administration of the university, serving as the campus point of contact for faculty and students. The Senior Vice President, Operations, and the Vice President, Admissions, oversee operational matters. All of these administrators are responsible for implementing board of trustees' policy.
Faculty members are managed by assistant vice provosts.
