Master of Educational Design and Technology students across all concentration areas will apply the
learning from the program to a current issue in education. Students will research a relevant concern in
education and develop a proposal to address the issue. Students will synthesize their learning from previous
courses to design a unit of curriculum that promotes integrity, a broad range of viewpoints, and supports
student learning. Students are expected to demonstrate mastery of all program and concentration outcomes.
The capstone course provides learners with practical experience that instructional professionals and
administrators require to improve the learning environment.

Course Residency Requirement
This course must be taken as last or next-to-last class; it is not eligible for transfer credit and
must be taken at Strayer University.
