This course covers the basic assessment skills and solutions needed to proactively deliver security
services, namely the prevention of security incidents and the detection of those that occur. Emphasis is
placed on both line-level skills and managerial skills required to conduct security tasks to facilitate the
prevention and detection of crime, with a special focus on the technologies and technological skills needed
to perform these tasks in all forms of security work.
