Examines classic and contemporary theories of learning that directly impact education and their
influences on teaching and learning in the K-12 school setting. Explores the research base of the major
theoretical models and examines the implications of those models for education. Upon completion of this
course, students should be able to describe theories and styles of learning and discuss the relationship
between different types of intelligence to learning motivation and its application to the classroom setting.
