This course establishes a foundational knowledge of radiographic, fluoroscopic, and mobile imaging equipment, including system design and operational requirements. Instruction includes an overview of Automatic Exposure Control (AEC) devices, beam restriction, filtration, and the principles of quality control and quality management within digital imaging systems. Laboratory experiences reinforce theoretical concepts through hands-on application, equipment operation, and evaluation of image quality and system performance.
