This course explores ethical issues and situations relevant to health services administrators and
contemporary health care organizations. Students will acquire the knowledge and skills needed to make
ethical decisions. A broad range of topics are explored including patient-centered issues, public health
ethics, ethical practices around contracts and reimbursement, confidentiality of patient medical records,
market, and obligation to the community.
